Smurfit Westrock

For Smurfit WestRock Zedek, we realized a T5 Flexhal that is fully equipped as a temporary shipping and storage space. The client is growing rapidly and urgently needed extra space for incoming materials, such as large rolls of cardboard. A key requirement: the hall had to be condensation and moisture-free. By choosing an insulated Flexhal with 60 mm PIR panels, this is fully guaranteed.

The hall has dimensions of 30 x 60 x 6 meters with a roof pitch of 10 degrees. These dimensions were essential to ensure internal logistical processes could continue smoothly. Additionally, we reinforced the roof structure to support a sprinkler system.

Within the project, we worked closely with the concrete engineer to ensure a floor suitable for AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles). This allowed the Flexhal to be placed directly on the correct foundation. We also integrated automatic high-speed roll-up doors, so the AGVs can continue to operate fully autonomously.

The hall is equipped with an overhead door, one high-speed roll-up door, four personnel doors, and a corridor connecting the Flexhal to the existing building. From the moment of approval, we were on-site to build within eight weeks, exactly according to schedule.

A complete, sustainable, and future-proof solution that immediately provided Smurfit with the extra capacity required.
